On December 20, 2009 we held an exhibition game to benefit the Arnold Palmer Children’s Hospital located in Orlando, Florida. This game was played in Orlando’s Tinker Field in Central Florida, next to the Citrus Bowl. We collected Christmas gifts for the children. In addition, and with special thanks to the sponsorship by Florida Utility Trailers, Inc. (of Central Florida), we provided free lunch to all the kids at our game and the extra food was donated to the St. Joseph’s (Church) Outreach Thrift Store and Food Pantry of Lakeland, Florida.
The Orlando Dragons are the defending 2008 Inaugural Season South Division Champions of the National Xtreme Baseball League and 2009-2010 Champion of the Amateur Baseball League, Orlando Division. The Orlando Dragons Baseball Club will have a professional team representing our Mid Florida area in the Continental Baseball League (CBL) in 2010 and 2011 and an amateur team with the United States Specialty Sports Association. The CBL is an independent professional league based in Dallas, Texas, while the USSSA is a Central Florida baseball program.
The Orlando Dragons are looking for companies or individuals who would be interested in sponsoring a Professional Baseball Club or the Amateur Team based here in the Orlando area. The sponsorship could be anything from taking care of the travel expenses within the continental United States, provision of meals while the team is away; assistance in the purchasing of equipment or any other services that would be beneficial to the team and it's players.
We would be interested in having you sponsor the Orlando Dragons baseball team for the current and upcoming season. Your organization would be able to advertise by using your company logo on the team banners, placement on the team Website, as well as listing on game program covers, fliers, e-mails or campaign/press releases.
