The Olympic trials are coming up with two opportunities for me to try out for a spot on the team for the 2008 Olympic Games. The Eastern trials will be held in Cocoa Beach, Florida May 7 –12 & the Western trials will be held in Salt Lake City, Utah May 20 –27. The winners from these two trials will advance to the US Championships that will be held June 1 –8. The winners of the US Championships will advance to the USA Olympic box-offs in August to gain a spot on the USA Olympic Team, my ultimate dream. In order for me to obtain this goal the costs that I will incur will be numerous. Expenses will include airfare, hotel stay, boxing gear & entry fees just to name a few. I would like to take this time to ask for your support. Since I am a full time student I can only work part time & money is limited. Any amount of donation or contributions would be greatly appreciated & very helpful in my goal to box on the Olympic Team.
