Anthony Sbarra
ANTHONY M. SBARRA Professional Golfer The 2008 Golf Tour Season will be here shortly. I would like to take part in the North American Pro Golf Tour Season (formerly the New England Pro Tour) again this year. In 2006 I was able to play half the season, in 2007 I played in all 9 events. To prepare for this year’s Season I need to be able to practice daily, starting in mid-March to be Tour ready in June. That means a leave of absence from work. I can’t take a leave of absence from my financial responsibilities, however. I am a frugal person and use my money wisely. Touring expenses are a reality and cannot be avoided. To devote the time, energy and focus necessary to get to the Winners Circle I am looking for 40,000 for the 2008-tour season. The ,000 sounds like lot, but after my experiences of 2006 and 2007, it’s clear to me that the money needs to be available before I can start. This will cover both Tour expenses and my regular cost of living expenses. Since you are still reading, let me tell you about myself. My family and friends call me TONY, or “COOL TONY” as I am known on the tour. I am in excellent health. I started playing golf at the age of 9. My father took me to the Gator Hole, a par 3 course in Myrtle Beach, SC while we were camping. That’s where my love of the game began. Since the first time I held a club in my hands, I have had the dream of being a Pro. Even now, each time I go to a course and stand on the first tee, I feel this is where I belong. I played on the Varsity Golf Team all four years of high school. At the time I graduated, people with dyslexia did not get offered scholarships or go to college. I did however, become a certified Golf Instructor. I taught group lessons for the local Community Education Program for 13 years as well as giving private lessons. Now I am moving to the next level. In 2006 when I played for half a season, in the New England Pro Tour (formerly the Cleveland Tour), the Tour President and Pro, Brian Hebb encouraged me. He said: “You have the talents to be a successful tour professional. Get more tour experience”. Former PGA Tour Pro, Jim Hallet told me to: “Put yourself in pressure situations under the gun and you will become a successful player.” These men consider me an asset to the NAGT. That reminded me of what Walter Morgan, Senior PGA Player told me when I met him. (He did not turn Pro until he was 50 years old). He said: “To make it you must practice, practice and then practice some more!” In 2007, I met Charlie Rutledge, former PGA Player. He became my mentor and offered to be my Swing Coach. I played well tee to green, but struggled on the greens. He says I have the potential to be a Winner. According to my Mom, this has been “Golf College” I want to play on the 2008 NAGT, but know that is only possible with sponsors. Taylor Made Golf Co. gave me a discount on clubs and has supplied bags and hats. The Birdzeyewear.com Sport Glasses have asked me to be a spokesperson and model for their glasses. Some family and friends support me in many ways, but I do need the influx of cash to make this a reality for 2008. For further information please ...

Phil Cradle
My name is Phil Cradle. I have been playing the game of golf for just about a year now and have discovered that I have a natural talent for the game. I am 32.
In the course of my play and practice I have discovered a new way of gripping the golf clubs, that I refer to as The Cradle Method. I actually wrote a book on the grip which can be downloaded at www.TheCradleMethod.com
I would love to play the game of golf for a career. I believe I have what it takes mentally and physically to compete in professional golf arenas. Of course, it comes down to having the money to compete, which is why I need a sponsor. I currently am a server at a local seafood restaurant. I am married, for almost 15 years now (yes, to the same woman :-)) I considered other avenues of bringing in income, for I really don\'t want to be serving salmon the rest of my life. I really feel in golf I have an opportunity to do something I really love to do, and at the same time pay the bills with it. I also would like to introduce the game to the little ones, especially those from low income families. The game of golf should be available to all, not just those with cash. That\'s why I didn\'t learn the game until I was 32. I am a minority(black) male, and like most minorities, golf isn\'t a game that is linked with our childhood. I would love to change that. Golf teaches so much that can be used in the challenges of life. My physical descriiption: 6\'3\" 160-170 lbs, pretty much all muscle. Drive of an ox. I need sponsorship to compete in a low tiered tour called The Gateway Tour. It\'s the tour that many compete in before they move on to The Nationwide Tour and then of course The PGA. I am trying to raise money to buy a spot to compete in a two events in the summer series of 2008. I am practicing as we speak for these events. You can check out The Gateway tour at www.gatewaytour.com
In return for your sponsorship I will of course wear your company name and logo on everything, except my body... no tatoos going on :-) But on the real, I would be willing to give your company and brand maximum exposure on all that I have to expose. I will succeed. I will achieve this goal. In the process, I believe I will make history. Please join me in this quest, and be a part of history in the making. Even if you can\'t or won\'t donate cash, which I understand is hard to come by, help me out by linking to my website www.TheCradleMethod.com and help drive the sell of my book The Cradle Method. All the money made from the sell of my book is going towards my quest for the gateway. Well, thanks for reading. Hope to being doing big things with you ...
